Cicilia Miriam

Cicilia Miriam is a bright, hardworking, and determined learner who is committed to her education despite the financial challenges experienced by her family. As the third-born in a family of ten children, she is growing up in a household where educational and basic needs must be carefully balanced among many family members.Cicilia aspires to become a lawyer, with the goal of advocating for justice, defending the rights of vulnerable people, and making a positive difference in her community. She also enjoys dance and flag football through Maisha Yangu Organisation (MYO), where she develops confidence, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.Cicilia comes from a two-parent family. Her father works as a carpenter and is the primary breadwinner, while her mother is a homemaker who occasionally assists with the family income-generating activities. With ten children to support, the family's financial resources are stretched, particularly as the children's educational needs continue to grow.Financial difficulties sometimes prevent Cicilia from fully participating in her education, including occasions when she is unable to sit for examinations because of unpaid school-related expenses. These interruptions can affect her academic progress and create additional stress. Sponsorship would help provide greater educational stability, reduce the financial burden on her family, and enable Cicilia to participate consistently in her studies while pursuing her ambition of becoming a lawyer.
