Dorcas Mmbone

Dorcas M’mbone is a determined learner whose educational progress has been affected by significant financial challenges within her family. Despite these difficulties, she remains in need of consistent educational support to strengthen her learning and development.Dorcas has learning difficulties, particularly in reading and writing. Frequent interruptions to her schooling have made it difficult for her to build strong foundational skills. With appropriate remedial support and consistent attendance, she has an opportunity to improve her literacy and regain confidence in her learning.Dorcas comes from a financially vulnerable family. Her mother relies on a small roadside maize-roasting business as the household's main source of income. Due to limited resources, some of Dorcas's siblings have had to live with their grandmother, while the family continues to struggle with basic household and educational expenses.Financial constraints have resulted in regular school interruptions due to unpaid fees, further affecting Dorcas's academic development. Sponsorship would help provide continuity in her education and access to targeted one-on-one literacy support. This would give her a stronger foundation for learning and improve her opportunity to progress academically.
