Favour Barbra

Barbra Favour is a resilient, caring, and determined young girl who remains focused on her education despite the challenges facing her family. As the older sibling, she demonstrates responsibility and continues to show ambition for her future. She dreams of becoming a doctor and is motivated to work hard toward achieving this goal.Barbra enjoys dance and flag football, activities that allow her to develop confidence, teamwork, and self-expression. She is also committed to her studies and understands the importance of education in achieving her aspirations.Barbra is raised by her single mother alongside her younger brother. Her mother recently started a small business selling sambusa and mandazi after previously relying on manual labour. Although the business provides an income, the profits are limited and are largely used to meet rent and basic household needs.Financial difficulties have resulted in Barbra being sent home from school due to outstanding fees, disrupting her learning. She also experiences health challenges that require further medical assessment, including a recommended diagnostic scan that the family has struggled to afford.
