Raicy Auma is a bright, determined, and resilient young girl who is committed to her education and is gradually developing into a confident young leader. As the firstborn in her family, she demonstrates responsibility and care toward her younger sibling. Despite the challenges facing her family, Raicy remains hopeful and focused on building a better future.Raicy has a strong passion for helping others and enjoys participating in craft activities at Maisha Yangu Organisation. She takes initiative during sessions, assists facilitators, and supports other children, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and a willingness to serve those around her. She dreams of becoming a doctor, inspired by her desire to help people and make a meaningful difference in her community.Raicy is raised by her mother alongside her younger sibling. Her mother relies on casual labour to provide for the family, but the work is unpredictable and the income is often insufficient to meet household needs.Financial instability affects the family's ability to consistently provide for Raicy's educational and developmental needs.
